    Professor QIAO Wei has long been committed to the research of anaerobic digestion treatment and resouce recycling of organic waste and wastewater, and has carried out process development and fundamental research on anaerobic digestion. A lot of works have been carried out in areas such as anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) technology, trace element bioaugmentation technology, biogas desulfurization and pathogen inactivation. Part of the work, such as AnMBR technology and trace element technology, has entered the early stage of industrial application. At present, Prof. Qiao has undertaken a number of provincial and ministerial scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key R&D Program of China, and Beijing Science and Technology Project, also established good cooperative relationship with international universities and institutes.
