Developed a dynamic balancing ring and its water injection system for front-load washing machine and a related patent application has been filed.

Advanced Development Engineer, Helgesen Industries, Hartford, WI, 2014-2017

Developed hydraulic fluid conditioning devices for the industrial OEMs using advanced analyzing tools such as CFD &FEA;

Developed fluid power research/development laboratory using NI LabView and wireless sensing system to complete the testing of various parameters such as hydraulic efficiency & aeration rate;

Cooperate with customers to conduct field tests and validate reliability performance;

Develop and guide Helgesen’s intellectual properties-one patent related to high performance Regenerative Reservoir has been published.

GRADUATE EXPERIENCE

Graduate Research Assistant, Purdue University, 2010-2014

Developed and investigated a magneto-rheological (MR) fluid based, valve actuation system using a 3D finite element, electromagnetic-mechanical-fluid multi-physics coupled model.

Developed a data acquisition system based on dSPACE and Matlab/Simulink for an experimental test stand of a 500Hz, MR fluid based valve actuator.

and Matlab/Simulink based data acquisition system of an actively valve controlled, 3-piston digital pump/motor.

Designed and compared hydrostatic transmission (HST) and power split transmission (PST) for a wheel loader using Matlab/Simulink.
