ResumeDr. Wenjin Long is an Associate Professor at the College of Economics and Management and a member of Academy of Global Food Economics and Policy, China Agricultural University. His research interests focus on food security, rural labor, and agri-food system transformation. He teaches labor economics and agricultural economics for undergraduate students. Before joining CAU, he worked as an Associate Research Fellow in a non-governmental think-tank. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham, UK. He received his BAs in Agricultural Economics and Sociology and MA in Agricultural Economics from Renmin University of China. His works have been published in China Economic Review, China & World Economy, Asian and Pacific Migration Journal, Journal of Integrative Agriculture, China Agricultural Economic Review and other journals. He has participated in many research projects related to labor, education, poverty, rural vitalization, health and nutrition. He undertakes several consultancies for UNDP and FAO.
