Pesticide Analysis for undergraduate student






Management and Risk Analysis of Pesticide Residue, for graduate students


Management and Risk Analysis of Pesticide Residue course focuses on the risk analysis methods and principles which involved in the pesticide residue management, establishment of MRL standard, and market supervision in several countries. The main contents include: good laboratory practice (GLP); the uncertainty of sampling and analysis, and its application in laboratory data quality assurance and in trade disputes avoidance; determination of residue definition; dietary risk assessment method; recommendation of the maximum residue limit levels, and MRL calculator; FAO JMPR data submission requirements for evaluation, official review procedure for the technical measurements, etc.

Apart from the lecture, some time was arranged for class discussion and extracurricular teaching practice, and some experiments including concrete examples were also arranged for practice and exercise. Through the study of this course, students could understand the domestic and foreign residue management practices, be familiar with CAC and risk analysis approach of the main foreign countries, and track the topics and contents of the international conference in recent years. The course would provide guidance for students in their thesis and their research works, and be helpful in training persons in related fields of scientific research, teaching, detection and management.
